Operations Manager

Greetings!! My name is Dawn, and I am the Operations Manager for Connecting Dots Foundation in Alberta. I was born in Whitecourt and then relocated to Drayton Valley, Alberta with my family when I was in grade three. I spent a lot of time in sports, reading and hanging out with cousins and friends. I became a mom in 2002 and then again in 2003. We relocated to Grande Prairie three years ago and I have enjoyed the community and connections that I have built. I Graduated with honours from Red Deer College in 1998 and have worked in Early childhood field for 26 years!! My roles have varied through out with stepping into Day-care (educator, assistant director and Director), Preschool Teacher, Educational Assistant working with special needs children in the school system, Day home and the amazing privilege of being a mom. All these experiences have given me the opportunities to expand my knowledge in the Early Childhood Field which has allowed me to support families and co-workers. Continuing my Professional Development and learning will allow me to bring those ideas and new knowledge into Connecting Dots Foundation. I look forward to working and growing with all our families!
