CDF operates as a non-profit organization focused on improving childcare services in your community. We accept referrals for children from birth to 12 years of age. Our team comprises professionals with considerable experience in inclusive childcare, particularly in aiding children with a variety of disabilities such as developmental delays, autism, chromosomal disorders, and genetic conditions. Furthermore, we are dedicated to increasing our capacity and providing franchise opportunities in Alberta, Ontario, and Manitoba as part of our expansion efforts

Our Approach
At CDF, we celebrate every child being an individual. We help all children reach their full potential by providing enriching and meaningful opportunities for development through our best practice approaches. Our educators develop ’emergent educational programs’ to deliver the national curriculum for early childhood education programs, called the Early Years Learning Framework. Emergent education focuses on the individual child, through the development of programs that are based on the children’s individual interests, challenges and understandings.

Enrolment Information
All families are invited to tour the centre and meet our amazing educators and see our beautiful fully resourced centre. On confirmation of enrolment, your child will attend the centre to participate in our three stage orientation process to assist with settling you and your child into our centre’s care. With communication at the centre of all that we do, we ensure families are kept up to date via emails and daily reports. Once you start at the centre and sign up to our app, we will be in touch throughout the time your child is in our care with photos, nappy changes, meal updates and more so that you can check in at any time or share special photos with family and friends.
