Shabeena Bakshi is a Mississauga based Connecting Dots team member. She is a devoted legal expert who works tirelessly to ensure that all children have access to school. She is passionate about helping children; particularly those entangled in the legal system, overcome personal problems and grow. As a mother, Shabeena understands the challenges of parenthood and the vital need for inclusive day care environments where parents can be certain that their children are empowered. Her personal experiences inspire her professional and community efforts, making her advocacy empathetic and successful. Shabeena’s dedication to her community goes beyond her legal practice. She has taught youngsters, young adults, and adults because she genuinely wants to help others achieve. Her different teaching experiences demonstrate her conviction in education’s transforming potential and mentorship. Shabeena enjoys spending time outdoors besides attending to her professional and instructional obligations. She enjoys camping, singing, and preparing different ethnic foods. Her enthusiasm for books, particularly those in the fantasy, mystical, and adventure genres, demonstrates her confidence in the power of reading to engage and connect with children, whether via reading to them or encouraging them to read. Shabeena views Connecting Dots as a crucial opportunity to support the upcoming generation.
